This is subject to change as needed. Even if you are not on rounds, you still have a responsibility to correct any breaking of the rules. This schedule is only for September. Any requests for schedule changes will be considered on a case by case basis.

There is so much to be done. One more day until we go back to Hogwarts. For some of you, it will be your first year. For me, it's going to be my last. I look forward to everything this year has to offer and hope that all of you are doing the same. Prefects will be keeping an eye on students during the ride to Hogwarts. Should you need anything please do not hesitate to ask myself or anyone else sporting a badge. Please be reminded that your best behavior is expected. Rule enforcement begins the minute you step foot on the train and will continue throughout the year. We'd rather hope to start the year off on a positive note so please do not make us deduct points before we even reach the school.
I will be spending tonight working on packing. I sincerely hope all of you have taken your school supply list seriously and not procrastinated. I hear there is a cauldron shortage and it won't do if you show up at school without one. Trust me. No one wants to borrow a school cauldron. They're all pretty terrible. |

Late notice but for all prefects and others who were interested in helping out with being part of the carnival booth planning, meeting tomorrow at the Leaky Cauldron 8pm. Bring your ideas. Non-prefects are welcome too if you're interesting in showing school support. |

I worked late these past few days and was far too exhausted to get around to posting this. I've got a number of things that I'm working on at the moment though. The load won't be lightening anytime soon. It appears that the new Headmistress has enough faith in me to have given me the great honour of being Head Boy for the 1998-1999 school year. I can only hope to live up to the expectations of both the faculty and those of you who will be attending this year. With more of us attending than ever, it will undoubtedly be interesting times.
So much to do.
[WARDED TO PREFECTS + HEAD GIRL]
The first prefect meeting will as always be held on September 1st promptly after departure to Hogwarts in the prefect compartment. I look forward to working with returning prefects and getting to know those of you who have only recently earned your badges.
Now onto a little business:
- If you're interested in helping with the fundraiser carnival in Diagon Alley, please contact me. While our participation is not a requirement, it certainly show enthusiasm for the community and concern for our peers. If you have have ideas for a possible booth, let me know. We do need to get this together as the date is quickly approaching.
- We will need to know clubs and activities outside of your position so that we can begin to work on a round schedule. Rounds are part of your duties and once set, we'd prefer as few changes as possible.
I will be in touch about other matters soon. Feel free to contact me should you have any needs before then.
